Iranian, Polish business delegates mull ways for strengthening ties

Iranian and Polish business delegations have attended dozens of meetings in Warsaw to discuss ways for the expansion of trade ties.

The sides discussed cooperation in the various fields of energy, industry, medical equipment (ICT), agriculture and food, IRNA news agency reported.

The meetings took place on the sidelines of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's ongoing European tour.

According to the report, the businessmen are scheduled to have 48 meetings. The banking ties will be discussed at 13 meetings.

Representatives from leading Iranian banks will also attend the meetings.

Zarif arrived in Warsaw, Poland on the first leg of his tour to the north of Europe May 29. Finland, Sweden and Latvia will be the next destinations of Iranian foreign minister during his tour.
