Iran's Minister of Labor Ali Rabii met with his counterpart from the Republic of South Africa Mildred Oliphant on the sidelines of the International Labor Conference 2016 in South Africa.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed improvement of cooperation and sharing knowledge in the areas of information technology and the creation of small to mid-size enterprises as a means to boost employment, Mehr news agency reported June 7.
Education, new technologies and exchange of professors were also discussed during the meeting.
The sides also reviewed the grounds for cooperation between the Iranian and South African funds, and a decision was made to draft a memorandum of understanding to be signed during Oliphant's future visit to Iran.
