Iran to boost capacity of oil storage facilities at southern terminal

The capacity of an Iranian oil terminal for storing oil products is projected to increase by 1.5 million tons.
Managing Director of Ports and Maritime Organization, Mohammad Saeed-Nejad said that the capacity of the oil storage facilities at an oil terminal in the southern province of Hormozgan named as “the Persian Gulf oil terminal” is expected to reach 1.8 million tons, IRNA news agency reported.
The official further added that 27 private companies have, so far, invested eight trillion rials (about $260.7 million according to official rate on June 28) for developing the oil terminal.
