The Islamic Republic of Iran exported over 12.825 million tons of mineral products, valued at $576 million, during the first six months of the current fiscal year (March 20- Sept. 21, 2016), according to the latest statistics released by the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.
The country’s minerals export in the six-month period increased by 50 percent year-on-year, according to the statistics.
This is while the export of these products in terms of value surged by 41 percent.
Mineral products shared 2.7 percent of the Islamic Republic’s total exports in terms of value.
Iran’s total non-oil exports (including the gas condensate) stood at $21.706 billion in the first six months of the current fiscal year, which indicates a 6-percent increase.
