Boeing gets financial support on Iran deal

Boeing reached an agreement with an American bank to get finance for building airplanes for Iran from a Japanese bank, Tasnim reported Oct.14.

An Iranian official said on the condition of anonimity that despite Boeing said it wouldn't deliver any airplanes to Iran in 2016, the company has solved its financial issues for delivering 100 airplanes to Iran in the coming three years.

The official didn't mention the names of the US and Japanese banks or the amount of financing, but the value of the deal is $25 billion.

Iran also has a deal with France’s Airbus to purchase 118 airplanes,worth $27 billion. The country also wants to purchase 20 airplanes from ATR.
