Some 164 billion shares have been traded at Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) since the current Iranian calendar year started March 20.
Over the past 161 trade days at the TSE, 164.180 billion shares valued at $13.4 billion (429.6 trillion rials according to the official rate on Nov. 18) were traded in 11.416 million transactions, Tasnim news agency reports.
The TSE main index stood at 80,219 points in the beginning of the current year, which has so far experienced a 1-percent fall over the year.
The index posted 79,268 points on its last trading day Nov. 16.
In the meantime, the TSE first market saw trading of 109.97 billion shares in the mentioned period.
