Iran Mercantile Exchange December trade $1B

Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) has reported that over $1 billion of various commodities weighting more than 2,270,000 tons were traded in its domestic trading and exports halls in December.

Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) has reported that over $1 billion of various commodities weighting more than 2,270,000 tons were traded in its domestic trading and exports halls in December.

The IME said that nearly 1,396,000 tons of different oil and petrochemical commodities with a total value of $604 million were traded in the mentioned period, Fars news agency reported January 1.

186,000 tons of agricultural products worth $60 million were also traded in the agricultural trading halls of the IME in December.

The IME further reported that 681,000 tons of metal and mineral products worth over $420 million were traded in its domestic and export halls in December.
