Spanish investors stood at the top of the list of foreign investors in Iran during the one year period from Dec. 22, 2015 to Dec. 22, 2016, the Iranian government said in a message.
During the mentioned period, statistics from the Iranian government put the Spanish investors at the top with $3.2 billion worth of investments (one project), followed by Germany ($2.9 billion for 17 projects).
The Iranian administration has authorized $11.8 billion worth of foreign direct investments for 113 projects in total, during the one year period.
