Main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) was down 163.8 points or 0.21 percent to end trade at 78826.5 points on Jan. 7.
According to the TSE official website, about 989 million shares valued at $ 41.3 million (1.3 trillion rials) were traded for the day.
The Price Index declined by 57.6 points or 0.21 percent to end at 27733.8.
The First Market lost 72.4 points or 0.13 percent to post 55956.9.
The Second Market Index fell by 595.7 points or 0.35 percent to reach 167733.3.
The Industry Index dropped by 145.7 points or 0.22 percent to post 66328.7.
The TSE30 Index plunged 5.5 points or 0.17 percent to hit 3222.8.
The TSE50 Index was down by 7.7 points or 0.25 percent to reach 3117.6.
