EU to remove sanctions from several Iranian entities

European Council announced that sanctions on several Iranian entities will been removed.

According to a report, published on European Council’s website, several entities should be removed from the list of persons and entities subject to restrictive measures, including Moallem Insurance Company, Petropars Operation & Management Company, Petropars Resources Engineering Ltd, Iran Aluminium Company, Iran Liquefied Natural Gas Co., Hanseatic Trade Trust & Shipping (HTTS) GmbH and Naser Bateni.

The report says Bank Saderat Iran is not included in the list of persons and entities subject to restrictive measures.

The mentioned entities were charged for their involvement with nuclear or ballistic missile activities and providing support to the government of Iran.

Iran and P5+1 Group, including US, UK, France, Russia, China plus Germany reached a nuclear agreement, which was implemented in January 2016.
