The Central Bank of Iran has announced that the Caspian Credit Institution will gradually reimburse the customers of dissolved Fereshtegan Credit Institution.

According to the CBI, Caspian will give priority to depositors with a maximum $2,653 (100 million rials) in their bank accounts.

The Caspian Credit Institution has been formed after the merger of several credit institutions and cooperatives, including Fereshtegan, Ferdowsi, Badr Toos and Al-Zahra based in northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi.

The merger took place within the CBI’s recent decisions to organize unauthorized credit institutions.
