The operations of laying pipeline for Platform A14 of South Pars Phase 14 have been completed, Hamid Reza Masoudi, the manager of the operations, said.
The projects included laying a 32 inch pipe and a 4.5 inch pipe for injective glycol, which reach 103 kilometers of pipe, he said, SHANA news agency reported May 28.
He said that the drilling of 11 wells of the platform will be over by mid-July, adding that the complementary operation of the A14 platform pipeline is expected to complete by the end of 2017.
When the platform is ready, it will produce 14.2 million cubic meters per day of gas, he noted.
Iran’s gross gas output stands at 285bn m3/yr. However, it plans to increase this volume to about 440 bcm/y by 2021 after full operational of South Pars and starting gas production from other projects like Kish gas field.
