Iran-Qatar mining trade surpasses $47 m

Trade between Iran and Qatar in mining sector over the past fiscal year (starting March 20) valued at $47.266 million.

According to the latest statistics by the customs administration of Iran, the country has exported worth of $47.214 million of mining commodities to Qatar over the last year.

In the meantime Iran has imported worth of $51,852 of commodities from the Arab nation.

According to the report, steel products accounted for 46 percent of Iran’s mining exports to its southern neighboring country. Iran’s overall exports to Qatar over the last year stood at $103 million.

Iran in total exported 42.847 million tons of mining products valued at $6 billion over the last year indicating a 36.4 percent growth in volume and 8.5 percent increase in value.
