Performance of Iran’s gold & currency markets on Nov. 2

Gold coin was traded at 13,185,000 rials (about $326.1 according to the currency rate in free market) in Iranian market on Thursday, inching up 0.04 percent compared to Wednesday.

According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,242,050 rials (about $30.7), edging up 0.02 percent compared to the preceding day.

According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro valued 47,554 rials in the free market, losing 0.01 percent. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of euro at 40,737 rials.

The US dollar dropped 0.03 percent to post 40,429 rials in the free market. The CBI put the official rate for the greenback at 34,950 rials.
