European countries can expect that in near future they would be able to import Iranian products and services in certain fields.
“Iran has lots of mind power in the IT and ICT fields, which can provide interesting solutions... which could be used in Europe. Also, in the heavy sector, like heavy machines, and petrochemical products Iran has some capabilities it can offer,” Jaroslaw Kaczynski, head of the Tehran Bureau at the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, said in an exclusive interview with Trend.
“We understand that the Iranian petrochemical producers are under certain limitations from the government that oblige them to first provide products for the local market before any exports. But we also hear that this limitation is going to be freed out in the near future. Then immediately it will open a gateway for Iranian products to be exported there and a bigger amount of Iranian products will reach Europe.”
According to Kaczynski, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency is looking forward to providing a gateway for Iranian products into the Polish market and beyond into Europe.
