Iran has attracted about $800 million in investment to develop its free economic zones over the last four years.
In the meantime, the officials are in talks to conclude worth of $4.5 billion of investment agreements to develop the country’s free economic zones, Tasnim news agency reported.
According to the report, the news was disclosed during a conference on the economic and investment opportunities in Iran.
Iran currently has seven free economic zones.
