Performance of Iran’s gold & currency markets on Dec. 11

Gold coin was traded in Iran at 14,077,000 rials (about $334.2 according to the currency rate in Iran's free market) on Monday.

According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,283,380 rials (about $30.47), indicating a decrease of 0.14 percent compared to the preceding day.

According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro valued 49,747 rials in the free market, dropping by 0.17 percent. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of euro at 41,811 rials.

The US dollar lost 0.03 percent compared to the preceding day and stood at 41,931 rials in the free market. The CBI put the official rate for the greenback at 35,499 rials.
