The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Dec. 12:
Export floor: Offers 130,000 tons of bitumen and 31,700 tons of rice.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 63,733 tons of various polymers including polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polybutadiene rubber, polystyrene, polyethylene, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (abs) and styrene butadiene rubber as well as 84,000 tons of bitumen.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,000 tons of 1000lb aluminum ingot from IRALCO, 220 tons of rebar basket from Azerbaijan Steel Company.
Agriculture floor: Offers 387,000 day-old chickens, 47,600 tons of wheat, 4,750 tons of sugar, 1,000 tons of crude vegetable oil and 1,096 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME will witness offering 1,000 tons of palm oil imported from Malaysia.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
