By Khalid Kazimov – Trend:

The Iranian health minister, Hassan Qazizadeh-Hashemi, said that South Korea has agreed to construct three hospitals in his country.

“Various grounds exist for cooperation between Iran and South Korea in the heath sector, including the construction of hospitals, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and research,” the minister told IRNA.

Saying the investment chance has been created by the Korean banks, he added that the cooperation in healthcare would benefit the private sector of the two countries.

Iran’s trade with South Korea over the first half of the current fiscal year (started March 20) reached $2.064 billion, an increase of 12.86 percent.
