The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Dec. 26:
Export floor: Offers 200 tons of insulation, 790 tons of bitumen, 1,000 tons of light lube cut and 6,000 tons of sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 43,932 tons of various polymers including different grades of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene as well as 55,000 tons of bitumen, 23,100 tons of vacuum bottom feedstock and 1,000 tons of slack wax.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 4,400 tons of rebar basket, 3,000 tons of cathode cooper, 1,340 tons of wire cooper.
Agriculture floor: Offers 405,000 day-old chickens, 17,800 tons of wheat, 4,700 tons of sugar, 800 tons of sunflower oil, 600 tons of soybean oil, 800 tons of canola oil and 2,438 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME will also offer 600 tons of palm oil from Malaysia and 10 tons of lactic butter.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
