Main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) dropped 206.49 points or 0.21 percent by the end of trade, resting at 98151.9 points on Dec 26.
According to the TSE official website, over one billion shares valued at $72 million (2.5 trillion rials according to the official rate on Tuesday) were traded for the day.
The Price Index was down 66.11 points or 0.21 percent, resting at 31458.3.
The First Market edged down 634.91 points or 0.9 percent, posting 69924.4.
The Second Market added 2135.9 points or 1.04 percent, standing at 207932.9.
The Industry Index lost 202.05 points or 0.23 percent resting at 86685.9.
TSE 30 Index dropped 37.75 points or 0.87 percent, closing at 4300.6.
TSE 50 Index was down 3.97 points or 0.1 percent, ending at 4068.5.
