Main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) dropped 253.54 points or 0.26 percent by the end of trade, resting at 97899.2 points on Dec 27.
According to the TSE official website, about 887 million shares valued at $43.9 million (1.8 trillion rials according to the official rate on Wednesday) were traded for the day.
The Price Index was down 81.26 points or 0.26 percent, resting at 31377.2.
The First Market edged down 374.22 points or 0.54 percent, posting 69550.1.
The Second Market added 483.9 points or 0.23 percent, standing at 208420.9.
The Industry Index lost 264.1 points or 0.3 percent resting at 86422.6.
TSE 30 Index dropped 22.29 points or 0.52 percent, closing at 4278.3.
TSE 50 Index was down 4.57 points or 0.11 percent, ending at 4064.
