The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) added 2.5 percent or 2390.6 points to rest at 97899.20 over the past Iranian week to Dec. 28.
According to the official website of the TSE, the index of the first market gained 1431.8 points or 2.1 percent to stand at 69550 points on the last trading day of the week on Wednesday.
The index of the second market surged by 6495 points or 3.22 percent to post 208420.
About 7.1 billion shares, valued at $369.9 million, were traded for the week.
