The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) gained 340.99 points or 0.36 percent to end the trades at 96270.4 on Jan. 6.
According to the TSE official website, about 1.3 billion shares, valued at $ 97.5 million (3.5 trillion rials converted to US dollar according to official rate) were traded for the day.
The Price Index gained 109.31 points or 0.36 percent, to post 30855.2.
The First Market grew by 216.68 points or 0.32 percent, to post 68286.4.
The Second Market added 861.54 points or 0.42 percent, to post 205515.5.
The Industry Index was up 343.71 points or 0.41 percent, to post 84945.
TSE 30 Index gained 17.94 points or 0.43 percent, to close at 4214.2.
TSE 50 Index increased 18.47 points or 0.46 percent, to end at 4005.6.
