The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 7:
Export floor: Offers 10,000 tons of bitumen.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 136,133 tons of various chemicals, polymers, bitumen, lube cut oil, vacuum bottom feedstock and sulphur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 3,000 tons of copper cathode, 1,330 tons of copper wire, 20,000 tons of low-grade copper slag and 1,000 tons of low-grade copper(5 percent purity) as well as 1,000 tons of 1000lb aluminium ingot, 100 tons of aluminium billet, 200 tons of aluminium alloy ingot, 220 tons of rebar basket, 18 tons of precious metal concentrates, 190 tons of molybdenum sulphur and 10,000 tons of cement(Khuzestan cement plant).
Agriculture floor: Offers 209,000 day-old chickens, 21,000 tons of wheat, 5,500 tons of sugar, 2,000 tons of raw oil and 12,406 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME will offer 600 tons of palm oil from Malaysia and 942 tons of polyester yarns.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
