The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) gained 601.17 points or 0.62 percent to end the trades at 97228.7 on Jan. 14.
According to the TSE official website, about 1.2 billion shares, valued at $ 79.2 million (2.8 trillion rials converted to US dollar according to official rate) were traded for the day.
The Price Index gained 192.16 points or 0.62 percent, to post 31073.6.
The First Market grew by 582.03 points or 0.85 percent, to post 69214.2
The Second Market added 466.32 points or 0.23 percent, to post 206257.3.
The Industry Index was up 581.47 points or 0.68 percent, to post 85749.5.
TSE 30 Index gained 39.4 points or 0.93 percent, to close at 4259.4.
TSE 50 Index increased 31.47 points or 0.78 percent, to end at 4047.6.
