The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 21:
Export floor: Offers 3,200 tons of bitumen and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 4,838 tons of chemicals, polymers and argon.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,325 tons of copper wire, 3,000 tons of copper cathode, 21,000 tons of low-grade copper and 220 tons of rebar as well as 1,800 tons of aluminum billet and ingot, 190 tons of sulphur molybdenum and 12 tons of precious metal concentrates.
Agriculture floor: Offers 16,200 tons of wheat, 2,900 tons of sugar, 8,900 tons of crude vegetable oil, 5,000 tons of feed barley and 13,248 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 3,675 tons of palm oil from Malaysia, lactic butter from Germany and Belgium as well as metal scraps, citric acid and used locomotive oil..
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
