Weekly performance of Iran’s gold & currency market

The gold coin was traded in Iran at 17,850,000 rials (about $425 according to the currency rate in Iran's free market) on the last working day of the Iranian week to April 13.

The figure indicated a rise of 2.06 percent compared to the last working day of the preceding week.

According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,635,220 rials (about $38.9), adding 1.8 percent, week on week.

The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of euro at 51,929 rials on the last working day of the week, a rise of 11.8 percent.

The CBI in the meantime put the official rate for the US dollar at 42,000 rials, an increase of 9.95 percent.
