AgraKepak product to be offered at Iran’s Mercantile Exchange

Iran’s Mercantile Exchange (IME) will trade frozen meat supplied by AgraKepak, an international trading company.

AgraKepak is the worldwide trading division for Kepak Group, specializing in supplying meat and fish to markets outside of the EU, which supplies beef, fish, pork, lamb and poultry to Asian, African and other global markets.

The IME said in a statement it has agreed to host offering of over 145 tons of frozen meat in its side market supplied by the company from Brazil.

The product will be offered by Jahed Investment And Service Co. For Rural, Nomadic Industries, the statement reads.

The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
