The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for May 19:
Export floor: Offers 11,485 tons of bitumen.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 52,527 tons of chemicals, polymers, bitumen and vacuum bottom as well as lube cut oil, sulphur and slack wax.
Agriculture floor: Offers 115,000 day-old chickens, 2,750 tons of sugar, 12,400 tons of wheat, and 500 tons of crude vegetable oil and 1,000 tons of date as well as 1,600 tons of saffron.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 134 tons of metal scraps, 300 tons of sugar and 2,439 tons of polyester threads.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
