Referred to the design and production of 13 new grades of polymer products, the Jam Petrochemical CEO, Seyed Hossein Mir Afzali said that by designing and producing these 13 grades of petrochemicals, the value added would be $50 million a year, which, if the product`s value chain complete, the value added will be $100 million per year.
“The capacity of producing more than 1060 new polymeric products per hour at the petrochemical complex has now been provided. According to need assessment, 40 percent of the new products will be consumed in the domestic markets and the rest will be exported abroad,” the director of Jam Company for Commercial Affairs Saeed Shirdel said.
“In addition to Europe, as of the main target markets, the countries of the Central Asian, Caucasus, Russia, Turkey, India and China are also the markets of these strategic products,” he said.
“The Jam Petrochemical Complex is the first and only manufacturer of three SBS, SB and LCBR products in seven major grades in the country's petrochemical industry,” the chairman of International Affairs of Jam Petrochemical Company Hossein Safari said.
“The project will be operational by the mid-next year,” he added.
