Shapour Mohammadi, the head of Security and Exchange Organization (SEO), said Iran and Montenegro would launch a mutual fund between the two countries.
“Iran and Montenegro will launch a mutual fund as well as joint project funds,” Mohammadi said in a meeting with Zoran Dikanovic, the president of the Capital Market Authority in Montenegro.
The funds will be established as part of an agreement signed between the two countries back in 2010, he added.
Executing the 2010 cooperation document between Iran and Montenegro will open a new page in the two countries' capital markets' relations, the official said.
Dikanovic, for his part, hailed the implementation of the agreement and said the two countries could benefit from joint project funds.
