Eight 1,750 ton-gantry cranes have been successfully transported from one terminal to another in Iran’s Shahid Rajee Port, ILNA cited Deputy Chairman for Engineering and Infrastructure Development of Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization Mohammad Reza Allahyar as saying.
He said that new 12 gantry cranes were brought to the port. Their installation is at the final stage. The cranes will be located in the southern and western parts of the 2nd container terminal of the port.
Allahyar added that much attention was paid to the transportation of cranes from one terminal to another. Local experts used their experience to carry out this work thoroughly.
