First batch of chemical fertilizers to be supplied to Iran’s Aprin dry port

According to an agreement with the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture, about 80,000 tons of chemical fertilizers will be transported to the Aprin Dry Port via railway, IRNA cited Director General of the Iranian Railways Abdeen Hadinejad as saying.
He said that this cargo has been already transported from the Imam Khomeini Port to Aprin port via carriages.
The Aprin port is being built on a 700-hectare-area. Next year it is expected to fully operate. Moreover, $30 million has been invested in the construction of the terminal.
