Since the start of this Iranian year on March 21, loans totaling 13 trillion rials (about $310 million) have been paid to the industry and agriculture sectors of Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province, said Raziyeh Alirezaei, head of the Razavi Khorasan Industry, Mine and Trade Organization, SHATA reports.
She said 106 industrial and agricultural enterprises received a total of 11.5 trillion rials (about $274 million) in loans during the period.
Forty agriculture enterprises received 1.59 trillion rials (about $37.8 million), while 66 enterprises in the industry sector got 9.95 trillion rials (about $236 million) in loans.
Alirezaei added that 14 industry and agriculture enterprises received 1.49 trillion rials (about $35.4 million) as loans for renovation and restoration work.
Of these, 11 industry enterprises got 1.42 trillion rials (about $33.8 million) and three agriculture enterprises received 7 billion rials (about $166,000).
