By Elnur Baghishov – Trend:

Exporters can not solve their problems despite exemptions made by the Iranian government regarding returning of currency obtained through export, Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Abbas Gubadi said.

Gubadi made the remarks at the 25th international exhibition of printing, packing and related machinery in Tehran.

More transparent programs should be created, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

Businessmen have problems with supply of raw materials and currency problems, he said.

The government made some exemptions regarding returning the currency obtained through export, Gubadi added.

In particular, the exporter has been exempted from paying up to 1 million euros to the NIMA system, he said.

The exemptions worth up to 3 million euros are planned to be made. Exporters can pay around 50 percent of the currency obtained through export to NIMA, Gubadi said.

Instead of returning part of the currency obtained through export to NIMA system, barter can be viewed as a solution. The government is not against that, he said.

Many issues can be solved, he added.

Some 400 local companies and 45 foreign companies, including Italian, Swedish, German, French, Chinese, Turkish and South Korean companies are participating in the exhibition.
