Iran imported 2,500 tons of paper

Iran's customs administration has announced that 2,500 tons of paper valued $2.2 million has been imported for country's newspapers during past 45 days.

A total of 3,137 tons of paper rolls valued $2.7 million have been imported via customs of the country since the start of the current year (March 21, 2019) till early June to supply the newspaper's needs, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to the customs administration, the main importers of paper to Iran were Germany, UAE, India, Russia, Turkey and Hungary.

The process of releasing imported goods may take no longer than few hours, if the importers comply with qualifying conditions, the report of the Iran's customs administration says.
