Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has called on the domestic producers and industrialists to manufacture automotive parts and other import goods that have been sanctioned.

"There have been positive attempts to improve domestic production and the ministry has issued call for all producers to manufacture auto parts and items that have faced challenges with imports due to sanctions," said Deputy Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade Abbas Ghobadi, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"Determining the real price of goods is on the agenda of related organizations. There have been problems in producing some items, but the conditions have improved and basic goods will be provided," he added.

"The necessary measures have been taken to provide basic goods to households, the country has no problem in this regard," he said.

"Monitoring market and goods and stability of prices are important topics that have been discussed. There has been stability in price of several goods. Amongst 65 basic goods that have been monitored, the price of 30 goods has been reduced or remained stable last week," he added.

"The market has been calm during recent weeks and hopefully the situation will stabilize," he indicated.
