Big Iranian companies produced over 3.4 million tons of steel ingots during two months (from March 21 to May 21) of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2019), Trend reports referring to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization’s website.
During two months, Mobarakeh Steel Company produced 1.56 million tons of steel, Khouzestan Steel Company - 645,800 tons, Esfahan Steel Company - 421,100 tons, South Kaveh Steel Company - 199,200 tons, Khorasan Steel Complex Company - 183,000 tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company - 175,000 tons, Iran Alloy Steel Company - 85,000 tons.
Iranian steel producing companies produced 1.066 million tons of steel ingots during the second month (April 21 – May 21) of this Iranian year, which is two percent less compared to the same period of last Iranian year.
Iran's steel companies produced 2.07 million tons of steel during two months of this year, which is six percent more compared to the same period of last year.
Mobarakeh Steel Company produced 1.21 million tons of steel, Esfahan Steel Company – 397,900 tons, Eksin Steel Company – 132,800 tons, Khorasan Steel Complex Company – 116,900 tons, Iran Alloy Steel Company – 40,000 tons, Baku Steel Company - 47,200 tons, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Steel Company - 42,200 tons.
Iranian big steel producing companies produced 1.055 million tons of steel products (fittings, columns, steel sheets, etc.) during the second month of this year, which is seven percent more compared to the same period of last year.
Iranian sponge iron producing companies produced 4.84 million tons of sponge iron during two months of this year, which is 12 percent more compared to the same period of last year.
More than 2.38 million tons of sponge iron were produced during the second month.
