The Iranian Cabinet of Ministers has permitted the import of cars worth over $40,000 and with an engine capacity of over 2.5 cc.
This decision was indicated in a letter addressed to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, Trend reports referring to Tasnim News Agency.
According to the decision, such cars may be imported for the representative offices and consulates operating in Iran according to the corresponding laws.
These cars can be sold in Iran by fulfilling a number of rules.
