Iran’s Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company increases production

Production volume of Iran’s Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company for six months (March 21 - September 22) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) increased by 30 percent compared to the same period last year, Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
The volume of polymer products output by the company in the first six months exceeded 315,000 tons, according to the report.
In the first half of last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019), 242,000 tons were produced.
The company added that this year’s monthly production was more than 52,000 tons.
The company expects that by the end of this Iranian year (March 21, 2020), the production will reach 700,000 tons.
For the six months, the company has fulfilled its fuel supply plan with by 265 percent by buying 175,192 tons of ethylene fuel. This is a 125 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company is located in the Imam Khomeini Port of Khuzestan province in the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone. The company produces various polymer products, including heavy polyethylene, lightweight polyethylene and other products.
