In the first six months (March 21-Sept.22, 2019) of the current Iranian year, Iran's East Oil and Gas Production Company (EOGPC) extracted 5.9 billion cubic meters of gas from its gas wells, the EOGPC Executive Director Ramin Hatami said, Trend reports via the company's website.
Thus, the company fulfilled the target plan by 102 percent, Hatami said.
Hatami added that 1,146 billion and 849 million cubic meters of gas were pumped into two reservoirs (Shurije D and Saraja) for winter gas supply.
The director said that the company's wells and pipes have been successfully repaired.
