Last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019), the Iranian Science and Technology Park in Markazi province exported knowledge-based products worth $2 million to various countries, Director of the Science and Technology Park Mohammad Rafiei said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Rafiei said that at the same time, the parks’ financial turnover amounted to 2 trillion rials (about $47.6 million), adding that 40 percent of knowledge-based companies are located in the Saveh district of the province.
“The Iranian Science and Technology Park fully supports all ideas of commercial purposes related to knowledge base and startups,” the director noted.
The Iranian Science and Technology Park was established in 2002. There are about 170 technological facilities operating in the park.
