The biggest refinery of the Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company is being built in Iran’s Khuzestan province, Hamidreza Rostami, managing director of Iran’s Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company said, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
Rostami said that the plant's operations will cause no harm to environment, adding that to date, the plant’s construction has been completed by 53 percent.
“Despite all the difficulties, it is expected that the plant will be commissioned by the end of next Iranian year (March 21, 2021),” Rostami noted.
Iran’s Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company exported 1.1 million tons of products worth more than $700 million last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019).
