Iran to restore activity of some enterprises in Ilam province

The activity of 13 enterprises will be restored in Iran’s western Ilam province by the end of the year (March 21, 2020), Chairman of the Ilam Industry, Mining and Trade Organization Jarallah Nasiri said.

“The loans worth three trillion rials (about $71.4 million) will be issued for the enterprises having problems and the enterprises which stopped their activity this Iranian year (beginning on March 21, 2019),” the chairman added, Trend reports referring to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Nasiri added that the loans worth 2.7 trillion rials (about $65 million) have been issued so far.

“Some 12 big enterprises are being built in the province and the investments worth 730 trillion rials (about $17.3 billion) will be made in these enterprises,” the chairman said.

Nasiri said that a petrochemical plant will be built in Mehran county of Ilam province through the investments of five Iranian banks.

“The loan worth $1.2 billion will be issued for the first phase of the plant,” the chairman added.

“Launching of these projects in Ilam province will give an impetus to the employment.”
