Iran is expected to operate processing infrastructure from an artificial intelligence center to provide information for private and knowledge-based companies in the new Iranian year (starts March 21,2019), said the head of Iran Telecommunication Research Center.

"Operation of Simourgh super computer is one of country's strategic projects, and it will be done via the artificial intelligence center," said Vahid Yazdian, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"Thee processing infrastructure in the artificial intelligence center that would be provided by Simourgh super computer," Yazdian said.

"Artificial intelligence requires precise use of data, there is daily data about income, transportation, health and traffic in the country that has not been used," he said.

"Establishing a service to analyze data is the main function of artificial intelligence, for example it can predict heavy traffic hours, or use transportation data for proper building roads in the country," he said.

"Businesses could also use analyzed data to provide better services to their customers and marketing," he Yazdian said.

"The services in the country's organizations are mostly traditional but the quality of services would be effective if executive organizations use artificial intelligence," he said.
