Iran's customs releases more imported commodities

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Mar.7

Trend:

Iran Customs Administration has released 4 million tons of necessary commodities in the past month, said the Deputy Minister of Industries, Mine and Trade.

"There is no problem in the supply of necessary commodities and there would be no increase of prices before the end of the current Iranian year (started March 20, 2020). It is expected that there would be no need to distribute necessary commodities from the reserves," said Abbas Tabesh, Trend reports citing Tasnim News Agency.

"The Ministry of Agriculture is dedicated to supplying chicken to the market and there is no issue in the distribution. Sufficient vegetable oil has also been delivered to distribution networks. There will be constant monitoring on the market for sufficient distribution of necessary commodities, including chicken, egg. The supply of meat and chicken and livestock feed is sufficient and the Ministry of Agriculture has planned 110 million chicken breeding for the final month of the current Iranian year," he added.

Tabesh went on to stress that there should be no concern over the increase of price and the Consumers & Producers Protection Organization does not intend to review price of any commodities unless there is a special economic case.
