Iran has capacity for business development, economic ties with China, but the railway infrastructure should be boosted, said representative of Gorgan and Aghghola County in Iran's parliament Ramezanali Sangdoveyni, Trend reports via Mehr News Agency.
"Boosting the railway capacity in Golestan Province is one of the concerns of the province MPs," he said.
The official said there should be necessary infrastructure to use the Inceboron border in the trade.
"However, the infrastructure at the Incheboron customs are not suitable for this volume of cargo," he said.
"The Incheboron border has good capacity to increase trade between Iran and Asian countries and especially Eurasian Economic Union member states, however there's need for more investments into developing the necessary capacity," Sangdoveyni said.
He went on to add that Iran can annually consume some 10 million tons of surplus wheat from Kazakhstan and export the surplus to other countries.
