Iranian-made Atlas car will be unveiled soon and will be mass-produced in the second half of the current Iranian year (started on March 21), Seyyed Javad Soleimani, SAIPA's CEO said.
"Saipa Group Company had 15 percent increase in production in last 3 months compared to last year, which means over 10 percent increase compared to the ministry's plan,” Javad Soleimani said on the sidelines of the signing of a memorandum between the Ministry of Industry and the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans, Trend reports citing ILNA.
“Car delivery rate has increased by 25 percent compared to the same period last year,” he said adding that the Company has delivered 100,000 cars to customers within the last 3 months.
He added that Saipa Company manufactured 60 sensitive car parts, which resulted in savings of $150 million.
