Iran's policy over water is based on fair water rights, said the Iranian Government Spokesperson.
There were disagreements about the volume of water rights, the government has a big picture of groundwaters and underground waters and it would act based on it in regard to water rights and shares in provinces, said Ali Rabiei, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"We hope to pass the draught and solve the concerns but all the policy makings are for a fair water right," he said referring to water cuts in Isfahan Province.
"All provinces are facing water problems that should be managed," he said during his briefing.
